I call this series "GPS", as it originated with my fascination with maps. I'm mapping the landscape, in my imagination, with layers of "trash"--food wrap, netting, book clippings--collaged on top, indicating our layers of over-building and the degradation of our natural landscape. Acrylic and ink mimic the fluidity and indents of the water and land.
